Ángel Escribano resigns as president of Indra and a succession process for the position is opened.

Ángel Escribano has resigned from his position as president of Indra during the Board of Directors meeting that took place this Wednesday, despite having communicated to his close circle that he had no intention of leaving the post, after weeks of rumours about his possible departure. The company has initiated the process to find a new president, according to information provided to the National Securities Market Commission. The Board has acknowledged Escribano’s contribution and leadership during his tenure as executive president. His resignation comes a week after the State Industrial Participations Society requested Indra to resolve the conflict of interest related to the operation that was being evaluated with EM&E, a company owned by Ángel Escribano and his brother Javier, who is a board member of Indra.
