A court in Madrid has accepted the complaint filed by a woman against Íñigo Errejón, related to a sexual assault that took place in October 2021. This is the second accusation against the former politician, following that made by actress Elisa Mouliaá, as communicated by the lawyer of both complainants. The Women’s Violence Court number 12 has accepted this complaint for processing, according to sources from the High Court of Justice of Madrid. Lawyer Alfredo Arrién, who represents the women who have accused Errejón, has confirmed that the complaint has been accepted for processing, without providing further information to preserve the discretion and silence at the complainant’s request. The complaint was filed a few weeks ago due to a sexual assault that occurred on October 16, 2021, eight days after Errejón’s assault on Mouliaá. The latter has been prosecuted in another court and has had an oral trial initiated, although that resolution is being appealed to the Provincial Court of Madrid.
