A first group of Palestinians enters Gaza from Egypt following the reopening of the Rafah crossing.

A first contingent of Palestinians crossed the border from Egypt into Gaza on Monday through the Rafah crossing, which has reopened after being closed for two years. This reopening is part of the peace plan promoted by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, according to reports from Egyptian media. According to Egyptian television Al Qahera News, the Palestinians arrived at the international zone of the crossing around 7:30 in the morning, local time, and have since remained there completing formalities to be able to enter the enclave.
