A 61-year-old man was arrested for stabbing his ex-partner in the neck in a park in the Usera district of Madrid during the early hours. The attack occurred around 00:15 on Camino de Perales. According to investigations, the attacker injured the woman in the neck with a knife that has not been located. One of the cuts caused a wound near the carotid artery, but the woman’s life is not in danger, thanks to the actions of the officers from the Citizen Attention Group who were patrolling the area and managed to stop the bleeding using gauzes. When Samur Civil Protection arrived, the paramedics stabilised the affected person and took her to Hospital 12 de Octubre in serious condition, accompanied by the Madrid Municipal Police.
