An attack in which Russian forces used drones and missiles, aimed at Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, caused power outages this Saturday, two days after trilateral meetings facilitated by the United States. Almost all of Ukraine was affected by the attack that took place from Friday night to Saturday, in which, according to local authorities, one person lost their life in the Rivne region and two others were injured. The regions of Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv were affected. Ukraine’s national energy company, Ukrenergo, reported that emergency power cuts have been implemented in most regions.
