A woman has filed a complaint in the courts of Madrid against Íñigo Errejón, former spokesperson for Sumar, for an alleged sexual assault that took place in October 2021. According to her account, they met and he forced her to engage in sexual relations after threatening her. This woman is represented by Alfredo Arrién, the same lawyer who is defending actress Elisa Mouliaá. Mouliaá filed a complaint against Errejón in 2024 regarding incidents that occurred on 8 October 2021. As a result of this, a judge investigated and charged him, and a trial has recently begun against him, although this decision is being appealed to the Provincial Court. In the complaint submitted to the gender violence courts in Madrid, the lawyer for this new complainant explains that in 2021 she initiated communication with Errejón, first through social media, then via Telegram, and finally in person. After a couple of dates, she began to think that he was possessive, as he wanted to keep track of her whereabouts and she discovered that he was in a relationship, despite him having denied it.
