An individual has been arrested in connection with the fire in a building in Miranda de Ebro, Burgos, where three people have lost their lives and four others have been injured. The three victims are women aged 78, 58, and 23, and among the four injured are two children, aged 7 and 11. The fire started around 22:45 in a building located at number 10 on Fuente Street, and it was reported that at least two people were trapped inside. The National and Local Police, as well as firefighters and emergency health services, were notified via 112. Two advanced life support units, two basic life support ambulances, and a primary care medical team were dispatched. A mobile ICU from La Rioja and another from Álava also arrived. The Castilla y León Health team (Sacyl) provided care at the site to seven individuals, of whom two lost their lives and five were taken to hospital, where one of them later died. The injured who were taken to hospital included three women aged 58, 30, and 23, as well as an 11-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. The Councillor for Security of the Miranda de Ebro City Council, Pablo Gómez, has reported that the reasons for the fire are unknown, and it is already under investigation by the National Police.
