Peñafiel (Valladolid) (EFE).- This Thursday, the leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, commented on the expulsion of Javier Ortega Smith, stating that he has no plans to focus on internal matters while citizens are facing difficulties. However, he warned that in his party «the leadership is the one that makes the decisions». In a press conference in Peñafiel, where he met with the Vox candidate in the elections in Castilla and León, Carlos Pollán, Abascal downplayed the significance of Ortega Smith being one of the party’s founders and stated that he is not afraid when asked about the possibility of Ortega Smith not handing over his positions as a deputy and councillor in Madrid.
