Adif has decided to extend the 25-minute increase in travel times on the high-speed line connecting Madrid and Barcelona until December, at the request of the companies Renfe, Iryo, and Ouigo, according to sources from the railway infrastructure administrator. Adif has reached an agreement with the companies Renfe, Iryo, and Ouigo to eliminate the last trains that operated daily on the high-speed corridor between Madrid and Barcelona, a decision that will remain in effect until December. According to Adif, the actions implemented will facilitate the company’s maintenance teams in carrying out conservation work on the infrastructure during times when there are no commercial service trains.
