The Taliban government announced that it has carried out air strikes targeting command centres and military bases in Pakistan, in response to the bombings by Islamabad in Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia. According to a report from the Ministry of Defence of Afghanistan, the strikes have hit facilities in Abbottabad, Nowshera, and Jamrud, as well as in the vicinity of Faisalabad.
