Fourteen autonomous communities are under alert for snow, rain, wind, and maritime phenomena. Andalucía, Asturias, Cantabria, Galicia, and the Basque Country are on orange alert for rough seas, with waves of up to 8 metres in Galicia. Some of these communities have issued yellow alerts. Galicia is affected by wind and snow; Asturias and Cantabria, only by wind; and Andalucía, by snow and wind. Yellow alerts have been issued for the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, and Melilla, due to wind and rough sea conditions; and for Castilla-La Mancha, due to wind and snowfall.
