All the secret documents from the 23F will be freely accessible from this Wednesday at midday.

Madrid.- From tomorrow at midday, all documentation related to the attempted coup d’état of 23F that has been «found» will be available to the public on the Moncloa website, as reported by the government spokesperson, Elma Saiz, during the press conference following the Council of Ministers. The minister announced that it consists of 153 «documentary units,» whose declassification, decided today by the Government, will allow access for researchers, historians, journalists, and any interested citizen, 45 years after those events. Its dissemination no longer poses a threat, which is why the government led by Pedro Sánchez has decided to permit access. In the president’s words, “memory cannot be locked away,” Saiz recalled.
