Beirut. At least 41 people have lost their lives and another 40 have been injured due to Israeli air strikes in Nabi Chit, in eastern Lebanon. The group Hizbollah reported an incursion by helicopters from Israel. The Emergency Operations Centre of the Public Health Ministry communicated that the attacks in Nabi Chit and nearby villages resulted in the death of 41 people and left another 40 injured. The Lebanese Army confirmed that among the deceased are three soldiers. The military entity reported that an Israeli unit landed in the region while air bombardments were underway over the nearby villages. The armed forces implemented defensive actions and mobilised. By the time they managed to illuminate the area, the Israeli troops had already withdrawn.
