London, this Monday, the cost of Brent crude oil for delivery in May increased by 6.76% during an unstable day for the market, influenced by rising tensions in the Middle East. By the end of the session in the London futures market, the price remained below 100 dollars. North Sea crude, which serves as a benchmark in Europe and had surged above 118 dollars during the day on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in London, lost momentum and was priced at 98.96 dollars at the close of the session.
