The price of Brent crude oil for delivery in May rises this Thursday, surpassing 10% and nearing $120, due to the increase in tensions in the Middle East following attacks on gas facilities. At 10:45, the price of Brent oil rises by 10.79%, reaching $119.05, although it peaked at $119.13. West Texas Intermediate oil also shows an increase, rising by 3.29%, reaching $99.49 before the market officially opens. Additionally, the cost of natural gas for delivery in a month in the TTF market in the Netherlands increases by 25.5%, reaching €68.6 per megawatt-hour. This Thursday, oil and gas prices continue to rise, following the trend of the previous day, due to the conflict between the United States and Israel against Iran, which includes attacks on energy facilities. In the previous session, Israel and the United States carried out attacks on gas facilities in Iran, including the South Pars natural gas field located in the Persian Gulf.
