The elections in Castilla y León reinforce Vox’s position as a key party for the PP to govern in the three autonomous communities that have already held their elections, provide some respite for the PSOE after their defeats in Extremadura and Aragón, and displace the left-wing forces from the political landscape. A scenario that, with the exception of Podemos and Sumar, which have been excluded from the Cortes of Castilla y León in favour of the socialists, is favourable for the rest of the national parties, as all experience growth. The PP obtains two representatives, something they could not claim after the elections in Aragón, where Jorge Azcón lost two seats. With this increase, they prepare for the negotiations regarding the investiture of Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, who during the campaign has emphasised that the negotiations will take place in his region and not at the party headquarters on Calle Génova.
