Damage and red alert due to the storm, which could bring 400 litres of rain to Andalusia.

Storm Leonardo is causing evacuations, isolated communities, and roadblocks in Spain, generating unfavourable weather conditions. There is a risk of flooding and overflow due to heavy rain, especially in Andalusia, which is on red alert. In some areas of Cádiz and Málaga, over 400 litres of water per square metre could accumulate in two days. Rain, snow, winds, melting snow, and intense waves are keeping nearly ten autonomous communities on alert, as well as the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla. According to Rubén del Campo, spokesperson for the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), this Wednesday and Thursday will be days of unfavourable conditions.
