Elections in Castile and León: The polling stations open with 2,097,768 residents of Castile and León called to vote.

Valladolid (EFE).- This Sunday, at 9:00 am, polling stations will open in Castile and León, where 2,097,768 citizens from the region are called to vote. They will have the chance to exercise their right to vote at the 4,470 tables set up for the regional elections. More than 26.46 million ballots, 6.33 million envelopes, and 301 transport routes have been prepared to facilitate voting in a thousand localities. Voters will have the option to choose from 24 candidacies, of which eight are available in all nine provinces of Castile and León. This will allow them to select 82 representatives and thus determine who will be the president of the regional government for the next four years. This Sunday, 15 regional representatives will be elected from Valladolid, 13 from León, 11 from Burgos, 10 from Salamanca, 7 from Zamora, 7 from Ávila, 7 from Palencia, 7 from Segovia, and 5 from Soria. A total of 88 visually impaired individuals will have the opportunity to vote, as they will have a braille kit that includes the ballots for the different candidates.
