Elections in Castilla y León: Voter turnout reaches 53.1% at 18:00, 1.5 points higher.

The turnout for the elections in Castilla y León has reached 53.18 per cent by six o’clock in the evening, which represents an increase of 1.56 points compared to four years ago, according to information provided by the regional Government. Participation has grown in all provinces, except for Ávila, where a decrease of 0.12 points is recorded compared to the 2022 elections, with 52.46 per cent of votes already cast. In León, participation has risen more, with an increase of 2.59 points, elevating the percentage of voters to 51.13 per cent. In Zamora, 51.22 per cent of voters have cast their votes, representing an increase of 2.35 points. In Palencia, the percentage of voters has reached 54.43 per cent, with an increase of 2.04 points. In Segovia, it rises by 0.66 points to reach 53.97 per cent; in Salamanca, with an increase of 1.08 points and 52.09 per cent of voters accounted for; and in Valladolid, where it grows by 1.18 points to 56.24 per cent. In Soria, there was an increase of 1.98 points reaching 53.94 per cent, and in Burgos, an increase of 1.43 points reaching 52.48 per cent. The province with the highest percentage of citizens who have voted is Valladolid, followed by Palencia, Segovia and Soria. León is the province with the lowest percentage, despite having experienced the largest increase compared to four years ago.
