The Government of the Canary Islands has reviewed the emergency situation due to rain and the risk of flooding in Gran Canaria and has declared an alert in Tenerife, El Hierro, La Palma, and La Gomera. The islands of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote are in a state of pre-alert. These decisions have been based on information from the State Meteorological Agency and other sources, and have been implemented in accordance with the Special Civil Protection and Emergency Attention Plan for Flood Risk in the Canary Islands.
