Madrid.- This Wednesday, the province of Guadalajara, in Castilla-La Mancha, is under a red alert for extreme cold in the Parameras de Molina area, where minimum temperatures are expected to drop to -14 degrees until 9 a.m. Additionally, five regions are under a yellow alert for snowfall in low-lying areas. There is also an orange alert for cold in other parts of the peninsula, which will last until 9 a.m. Temperatures of up to -10 degrees are forecasted in the Huesca Pyrenees and up to -12 degrees in Albarracín and Jiloca, in Teruel, where there is also an orange risk. The region of Catalonia is facing a risk level for extreme cold in the early hours of the day, with temperatures potentially reaching -12 degrees in the Arán Valley and the Girona Pyrenees, as well as up to -10 degrees in the pre-Pyrenees of Barcelona and the Lleida Pyrenees, according to the State Meteorological Agency.
