Feijóo accuses Sánchez of being a «loser» whose «superpowers» are failing him.

Madrid. This Wednesday, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, leader of the PP, has labelled the president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, as a «loser» and remarked that his «ten defeats» in elections are a «judgement on the superhero of democracy.» In the session of government scrutiny in Congress, Feijóo pointed out that the Government’s use of «no to war» is a «smokescreen» that has not been successful. Furthermore, he suggested that Sánchez «imitate» the proposals that the PP presented two weeks ago to mitigate the effects of the war in Iran, rather than presenting Congress with a «omnibus decree.» Sánchez did not mention the elections in Castilla y León, where the Partido Popular candidate, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, emerged victorious. Additionally, he urged the PP leader to take responsibility and support the measures that will be included in the plan to be approved on Friday to address the repercussions of the war in Iran. In this context, Feijóo indicated to Sánchez that he should not consider presenting these measures «in an omnibus decree» and demanded that he has done nothing and has no «urgency» in implementing aid. Feijóo advised the president to act appropriately and to «imitate» the PP’s proposals, which include reducing income tax, lowering VAT on energy, and cutting taxes on fuels. Moreover, the PP leader pointed out that the president uses «no to war» as a «distraction,» something that has not been successful.
