Fourteen communities and Melilla on alert, with the Duero already overflowing in Zamora.

Madrid (EFE).- This Saturday, fourteen autonomous communities and the city of Melilla are under orange and yellow alerts due to winds reaching 100 km/h in some areas of the country, as well as snow, rain and maritime phenomena. According to the State Meteorological Agency, an orange warning has been issued for several regions, including Andalusia, Asturias, the Balearic Islands, Cantabria, Catalonia, Galicia, the Basque Country, the Valencian Community, and Melilla. In the case of Melilla, the warning is valid only until 11:00 hours due to coastal phenomena and winds that may reach 70 km/h. The rise in the level of the Duero River, caused by melting snow and rain, has led to its flow reaching approximately 450 cubic metres per second this Saturday morning in Zamora. This has caused flooding in the riverfront promenades and has affected some pieces of urban furniture in the recreational area of Los Pelambres. According to information from the CHD, this Saturday morning, the Huebra River, as it flows through Puente Resbala in Salamanca, was in a state of alarm, while the Cea River in Valderas, the Duero in Saucelle and the Támega in Rabal were at alert level. 31 January at 00:06 WARNINGS FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW | Spain: winds, rain, coastal phenomena, snow, thawing and storms.
