Fourteen autonomous communities are on alert for snow, rain, winds, avalanches, and bad weather at sea. Galicia is on red alert due to extraordinary risk from sea conditions, with waves of up to 9 metres. Asturias, Cantabria, and the Balearic Islands are on orange alert due to adverse maritime weather. In the northwest and west of A Coruña, waves between 8 and 9 metres are anticipated from northwesterly winds reaching up to 61 kilometres per hour, representing an extraordinary risk, according to forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency.
