Greenlanders will determine the future of Greenland, as established in the Autonomy Charter. With that message, we are departing tomorrow for the United States,» Nielsen stated. The Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, had announced that he would meet on Wednesday in Washington with the U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, to discuss this Danish autonomous territory. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greenland, Vivian Motzfeldt, will also be present at this meeting. According to Rasmussen, the meeting will take place at the White House, and it will be the U.S. Vice President, JD Vance, who will host it.
