A 10-year-old boy was murdered in Arona, Tenerife, by his 35-year-old father, who struck him on the head with a machete. The father also injured the mother with the same weapon. He was shot dead by the Guardia Civil after attacking another officer. The woman is hospitalised at the Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
He kills his 10-year-old son, injures his wife and is shot dead by the Civil Guard.
