In 2025, home sales increased by 11.5% compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 714,237 properties, the highest figure since 2007, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics. In December 2025 and throughout the year, the transactions for buying and selling homes rose by 11.5%. Transactions for second-hand homes, which account for over 78% of the total, increased by 10.3% in 2025, reaching a total of 558,327. Sales of new homes grew by 16.1%, reaching 155,910 units.
