This Thursday, 1st January, the ban imposed by Israel on 37 international non-governmental organisations operating in Gaza and the West Bank began. The foreign employees of these NGOs must leave the Palestinian enclave before 1st March. This week, the Israeli government announced the revocation of the licences of these organisations, arguing that they had not completed a registration process approved in March 2025. The mentioned process includes the obligation for the organisations to provide the Israeli Government with confidential information, such as the names of all their workers.
