Iran accuses the US and Israel of «encouraging instability and violence» in the country in a letter to the UN.

The United Nations.- This Saturday, the Iranian Government held the United States responsible for «promoting instability and violence» in collaboration with Israel, in a letter addressed to the UN, in response to comments made by US President Donald Trump regarding the protests in Iran. Iran’s Permanent Mission to the UN criticised the «conduct of the United States,» pointing out its «interference in Iran’s internal affairs through threats and provocations.» In the letter directed to UN Secretary-General António Guterres and the President of the Security Council, Abukar Dahir Osman, Iran stated that the collaboration between the United States and Israel is «clear,» evidenced by Trump’s support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
