Iranian authorities have arrested political activist Ghorban Behzadian-Nejad due to a manifesto that criticises the government, published following the repression of protests in January. The document called for the establishment of a constitutional assembly, according to media reports in Iran. Behzadian-Nejad was detained at his home in Tehran, reported late on Saturday. He is one of the signatories of the “Statement of the 17”, which was made public at the end of January.
