Iran denies firing a missile at Turkey but says it has attacked a US oil tanker in the Persian Gulf: sixth day of war.

The Iranian Armed Forces denied having fired a missile towards Turkey. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that it has carried out an attack against a US oil tanker in the Persian Gulf, and that the ship is on fire. The Revolutionary Guard declared that the Strait of Hormuz is under the authority of the Islamic Republic and warned that vessels that do not follow the protocols «could be attacked or sunk.» The Sri Lankan Navy recovered 84 bodies from the Iranian ship that was sunk by a torpedo from a US submarine, which was carrying 180 people.
