Tehran, 5 March. This Thursday, the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces denied having fired a missile towards Turkey, following reports indicating that NATO defences in that country had intercepted a projectile coming from Iran. «The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran honour Turkey’s sovereignty and reject any accusations of launching missiles towards its territory,» stated the General Staff in a communiqué.
