In the early hours of Saturday, Iran carried out attacks aimed at Tel Aviv, hitting three targets according to Tehran. Israeli forces asserted that they were responding to missile launches, on the eighth day of the conflict in the Middle East. The Tasnim news agency reported the twenty-fourth series of airstrikes targeted at «the core of the occupied territories and Tel Aviv.» The agency also mentioned that «the three missiles launched successfully struck their targets.» The Israel Defence Forces reported that they have detected missiles fired from Iran towards their country. In a statement, they affirmed that «the defence systems are active to counter the threat.» This series of attacks by Iran comes just hours after the Israeli Army reported a new phase of aggression directed at Tehran’s infrastructure. Mehrabad International Airport, located in Tehran, experienced a fire, according to local television. According to Iranian authorities, at least 1,332 civilians in Iran have lost their lives in the conflict, while Iran’s attacks on Israel have resulted in ten deaths. The figures remain provisional due to access limitations and a lack of internet.
