Iran rejects Trump’s plan and presents its own conditions, according to state media.

Iran has dismissed the 15-point offer presented by United States President Donald Trump to end the conflict and has put forward its own demands, according to state sources. An official source informed the state-run Press TV that Washington submitted the proposal to Tehran through diplomatic channels, which the latter has deemed excessive and disconnected from the reality of America’s failure on the battlefield. The Iranian government has also described the negotiation proposal as misleading, according to the source, which mentioned that the United States and Israel attacked the Persian Republic while talks were taking place last June and again at the end of February. According to the American newspaper The New York Times, the peace proposal was managed through Pakistan and includes aspects regarding Iran’s nuclear programme and the advancement of its ballistic missiles. The newspaper notes that the initiative also encompasses the protection of energy routes, particularly the Strait of Hormuz, the instability of which has impacted maritime traffic and provoked tensions in global oil and gas markets.
