The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that the attacks against Israel managed to hit more than seventy locations in the north and south of the country. According to a statement, the attacks were carried out in Haifa, Al Jadriya, and Dimona, employing ballistic missiles. The Revolutionary Guard declared the beginning of a new series of attacks against Israel, stating that it has struck targets and military bases in the northern part of the Hebrew state in support of Hizbollah. The facilities were «annihilated» due to bombardment. Iran carried out these attacks in northern Israel to support Hizbollah and the people of southern Lebanon in response to Israeli offensives. Tehran declared that this action represents the beginning of measures against Israel and warned that the locations of Israeli forces in Palestine and in Israeli cities would be the target of attacks.
