Israel accuses Hizbollah of the death of peacekeepers in Lebanon.

The United Nations, (EFE).- This Tuesday, the Israeli ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, held the Hizbollah group responsible for the attack that resulted in the death of two peacekeepers in southern Lebanon on Monday, despite the organisation’s Secretary-General, António Guterres, referring to it as an «explosion of unknown origin.» «Regarding the attack that occurred on 30 March, we can confirm that security forces were struck by explosives from Hizbollah in an incident that took place near Bani Ayan, in southern Lebanon,» Danon stated to the media at the entrance of the Security Council.
