The Israeli army reported airstrikes targeting facilities in Iran and others under the control of Hezbollah in Lebanon, after detecting missile launches from Iran towards Israel. The Israel Defence Forces have not provided further information about the operation. Israel identified missiles fired by Iran towards its territory. «Defence systems are active to neutralise the threat,» states a message shared on Telegram, urging the population to seek shelter. Hezbollah declared that it conducted attacks against Israeli soldiers «by firing rockets» in areas of southern Lebanon. The Lebanese news agency NNA reported Israeli attacks in localities, including Qana and Mjadel in the south of the country, as well as in the Haret Hreik neighbourhood, south of Beirut.
