Jerusalem.- This Wednesday, the Israeli army claimed that it has completed a series of airstrikes in Dahye, a neighbourhood to the south of Beirut that has been a stronghold of the Hizbollah militia in Lebanon. According to an announcement from the Israel Defence Forces, the IDF carried out attacks in Dahye, Beirut, targeting Hizbollah command centres and locations where this organisation had weapons. On Wednesday, clashes were reported between the Lebanese Shia group and Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, which also suffered bombardments by Israel, resulting in at least 9 fatalities and 13 injuries. According to the official Lebanese news agency NNA, both sides used artillery and rockets during the confrontations in the Bint Jbeil district, in the city of Aitaroun, which is located on the border with Israel.
