Jerusalem (EFE) – This Tuesday, the Israeli army called for the evacuation of a 45-kilometre area in southern Lebanon, after Israel announced a ground invasion to create a «security layer» to prevent attacks from the group Hizbollah towards northern Israel. A spokesperson for the Israeli army posted on social media: «We reiterate that you must evacuate your homes immediately and head north of the Al Zaharny River without delay.» The message warned that «any movement towards the south» endangers the lives of Lebanese people.
