Jamenei blames Trump for the victims and damages from the Iranian protests.

Tehran.- This Saturday, Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, blamed the President of the United States, Donald Trump, for the casualties and damage caused during the protests in the Islamic Republic. “We believe that the President of the United States is responsible for the victims, the damage, and the accusations directed towards the Iranian nation,” he stated during a religious event in Tehran. Khamenei asserted that the demonstrations were part of a US plan aimed at destroying Iran. He noted that in «past conspiracies,» the involvement of Western officials was usually limited to journalists and lower-ranking politicians, but this time was different. “What is remarkable about the recent plot is that the President of the United States participated directly: he communicated, issued threats, and by motivating the conspirators, conveyed the message to continue, not to be afraid, and that they could count on our military support,” he claimed.
