Koldo García, a former ministerial advisor, has made an effort to halt the trial set to begin next Tuesday in the Supreme Court, related to commissions on face mask contracts, by filing a complaint with the Constitutional Court for violation of rights. After having exhausted legal options against the Supreme Court’s decision not to refer the case to the National Court, Koldo García’s defence has submitted an appeal for protection to the court of guarantees, one week before the trial starts.
