This Wednesday, Lebanon awoke to bombings by Israel, which have left at least 56 dead and over 335 injured since they began two days ago. Early this morning, one of the attacks targeted a hotel on the outskirts of Beirut. A bombing hit the Comfort Hotel, located in the suburb of Baabda, causing damage and injuries to at least five individuals, including a receptionist who is in serious condition, according to the owner speaking to EFE on-site. Additionally, the peripheral area of Dahye was once again the target of new attacks this morning, while the Israeli Army continues to issue evacuation orders for that area, from which thousands of residents have already fled in the last 48 hours. Among the areas that were attacked last night are Saadiyat and Aramoun, located south of Beirut. According to a statement from the Lebanon Emergency Operations Centre, six fatalities and eight injuries were reported in these localities. The same office, part of the Ministry of Public Health, had previously reported that the total number of casualties since the start of the Israeli aerial offensive in the early hours of Monday had already reached 50 dead and 335 injured, to which the six from Saadiyat and Aramoun are now added.
