A part of the archipelago awoke under snow today, including the capital, while a decline in participation in the elections for the House of Representatives was reported, according to the Japanese news agency Kyodo, citing information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. However, early voting up until last Friday grew by 26.56% compared to 2024, and nearly 21 million voters had cast their votes. In the previous elections for the House of Representatives, overall participation was 53.85%.
