María Jesús Montero, the Government’s vice-president and Minister of Finance, bid farewell to her colleagues in the cabinet during her last meeting of the Council of Ministers, as she will leave the Executive to lead the PSOE’s candidacy in the Andalusian elections on 17th May. A date for her departure from the Government has not been set, but her farewell indicates that it will take place before next Tuesday, 31st March, when the Council of Ministers will meet again in Moncloa.
