Members of Sumar do not enter the Council of Ministers and demand more measures in response to the economic effects of the war.

The ministers of Sumar did not participate in the Cabinet meeting that took place this Friday, convened to approve actions in response to the economic repercussions of the conflict in Iran. According to sources from Sumar, the ministers are seeking to incorporate initiatives related to housing and the regulation of business profits. These sources indicate that housing is a challenge facing the population and that the Government must find a solution. The Sumar representative, Ernest Urtasun, announced that they would strive to ensure that the socialist part of the Government included measures to protect tenants. However, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, clarified that the decree would only include what had the consensus of the parliamentary groups.
