Neither the cold daunts their majesties: the Three Wise Men visit many corners of Spain.

Madrid (EFE).- It has been a day for the Three Wise Men of the East: Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar have travelled across Spain by camel, plane, hang glider and boat to visit the youngest ones. The low temperatures and snow have caused some parades to be brought forward or moved to indoor spaces. The cities of Andalucía, Murcia, Valencia Community, Cantabria and Asturias have adjusted their activities. The municipalities of Poniente almeriense, such as El Ejido, Roquetas de Mar and Adra, have cancelled the parades and implemented ‘alternative plans’ to welcome the Three Wise Men in closed spaces. This has also occurred in Lorca (Murcia), where it was decided to hold a «static parade.» In Melilla, the procession did not take place due to a storm with rain, thunder and lightning that greeted their majesties shortly after their arrival in the autonomous city, although they managed to greet those who were waiting for their visit. Some towns in the Valencia Community will receive the Three Wise Men tomorrow, 6 January, once they have finished their gift deliveries, as the weather conditions have complicated the situation.
