Jerusalem.- In the early hours of this Monday, the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, lifted the restriction that prevented the Latin Patriarch Pierbattista Pizzaballa from entering the Holy Sepulchre and allowed him to conduct religious services. Netanyahu stated on X that he had instructed the authorities to grant Cardinal Pizzaballa full access to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, after explaining his prohibition of access to the basilica for security reasons.
