Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores face the second hearing of the legal case against them in the USA.

New York.- This Thursday, the second hearing in the trial against the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, Cilia Flores, began. They were detained in Caracas and face drug trafficking charges brought by the US justice system, in a federal court in New York. Maduro and Flores are together with their lawyer and are using headphones to hear the translation of what is being discussed in the hearing, according to CNN reports. The judge presiding over the case, Alvin Hellerstein, arrived in the courtroom at approximately 11:45, despite the hearing being scheduled for 11:00.
