In January, hotel stays grew by 3.4% compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 17.3 million. At the same time, accommodation prices increased by 4.3%, marking 55 consecutive months of rises. According to the statistics released by the National Institute of Statistics, stays by international tourists saw a 3.8% increase compared to the same month in 2025, while stays by domestic tourists grew by 2.5%. This information comes after reaching a record of 366.7 million overnight stays in 2025.
Nights spent in hotels set a record for January, and their prices have been on the rise for 55 months.
