The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has pointed out the leaders of the PP and Vox, Alberto Núñez Feijóo and Santiago Abascal, for backing a conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran, which will impact Spaniards by increasing the cost of their daily lives. During an event for the PSOE campaign for the regional elections in Castilla and León, Sánchez, accompanied by the Minister of Equality, Ana Redondo, and the candidate for the presidency of the Junta, Carlos Martínez, referred to Feijóo and Abascal as «hypocrites», arguing that «it is easy to be bellicose at the expense of other people’s money». Sánchez stated: «Feijóo will not cover the costs of gas or heating for the citizens, nor will Abascal take care of the fuel for tractors, but both support Trump’s war in Iran.» He said this in front of an audience that repeated the slogan ‘No to war’. The Minister of Equality introduced him as «the hero of peace». Sánchez expressed his pride in being Spanish for defending «what we stand for against barbarism and war».
